Regarding the discussion regarding homosexuality, remember that it is seen in all other animals as well. Not just humans and apes. It may or may not be an evolved trait. If it isn't then I'd argue that it's merely a by-product of need to have genders specialising in different ways. There is never a one to one mapping from genotype to phenotype.
