The same thing will happen elsewhere fairly soon. Saudi Arabia might be last but its time is limited.
America suffers from the tragic delusion that democracy is some kind of cure-all for a society's ills. The problem is that a democracy is only sustainable where religion has been watered down and secularism is ascendant. Otherwise, the people will simply vote themselves a theocracy. Even America has come dangerously close to doing so.
