Marcion was the one who believed there is a good go and a bad god. That the bad god was worshipped by the jews and created this world, so Jebus was sent to correct these errers. Am I correct?

Marcion taught that the god of the Old Testament was not the true God but rather that the true and higher God had been revealed only with Jesus Christ. Marcion wrote the Antitheses to show the differences between the god of the Old Testament and the true God.

The story gets shakier from there.  Rome in the 140s AD was hardly a hotbed of jesus freak theology!
