Frying pan to the fire, BM. One look at the refugee camps in Lebanon and Jordan will answer that question.
For the most part, it's better as those countries are more compatible with their way of life as Paulpablo mentioned earlier in the thread.
But let me ask you this, why isn't your country doing much about it? We're a tiny Island nation and have taken 15,000 so far. The US has only taken roughly 4,000.
