I doesn't mean other believers are so corrupted. But when a believer does this kind of stuff, its can't get any more immoral.
Believers are those who give them money, not because they're evil but brainwashed. They should rather give money to no-god (or dare I say atheist) organizations like UNICEF, Amnesty International, Doctor’s Without Borders, S.H.A.R.E. or Goodwill Industries that don't use "obligatory part of the money" to build castles, jets, jewelry, cars etc like religious charitable organizations do. This is hardly first case of a priest making large sums of money disappear, even in this year. We had reports like those on this forum before.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
