It is keep up in remembrance of GOD's will. What's the point of it. Why do I need to "keep up in remembrance of GOD's will", when I could happily use the time walking my dogs, playing with my family, or taking a good nap? What's the point of prayer?
No one said to not play with your children or not walk your dog.
Some can easily be lead astray by their own desires.
Prayer helps to both show GOD that though you may not always abide, that you do strive to, and also, to keep one occupied with good acts, deeds, and words, as opposed to those things unbeneficial to any, ultimately.
