I don't know much about the Naxalite group (here's me showing my western prejudices again, I should stop waving it about in public). But when the government doing the accusing is the BJP, I'd be a lot less inclined to shout about other terrorist groups.
I'm not intimately familiar with them either, however they clearly fit the bill of a left wing terrorist group, no matter who is doing the accusing. There are lots of left wing terrorist groups in Latin America, Asia and Africa. In fact there was a car bomb set off in Chile when I was there a couple of years ago and there were wide scale left wing student riots as well, the Farc still exists in Columbia, even if they are probably not going to for much longer. The idea that there is no left wing terror is a western-centric idea.
