The point seems to be that one could always unsubtlely obfuscate any issue by pretending there is no difference between dramatically different shades of gray.
On the one hand, there is Boeing which engaged in, albeit with perhaps greater than average effectiveness, what is commonly accepted as normal war industrial effort in a war. On the other hand, there is I.G.farben, which had unusually close association with refining the mechanics and logistics of extermination in the concentration camps.
So who is obtuse, deliberate or natural?
