Is being born again a voluntary act?

Depends on who you ask, but it won't mean much in context, as all the volition in the world isn't what saves you.  You are saved by grace.  

I could have sworn Jesus said something about holding onto your crown....here it is, Rev 3:11 I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.

That crown is the stephanon, the victory over death, the crown of eternal life.

Is it, or have you misread revelations in accordance with your particular pattern seeking impulse?

We might be saved by grace but we are rewarded or chastised according to our deeds. Rom 2:6 God “will repay each one according to his deeds.” 7 To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life.…8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow wickedness, there will be wrath and anger.…

There is no "s" in Revelation. Not sure what you think I misread.
