Determining our lives by what one of thousands of religions suggests is rather fucking retarded.

Again, no.  If you're saved (or born again)...you're saved. You're expected to sin, as a fallen creature. Heaven is full of sinners.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Considering that your counter is illogical, no.

Is being born again a voluntary act?

I could have sworn Jesus said something about holding onto your crown....here it is, Rev 3:11 I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.

That crown is the stephanon, the victory over death, the crown of eternal life.

Depends on who you ask, but it won't mean much in context, as all the volition in the world isn't what saves you.  You are saved by grace.

Is it, or have you misread revelations in accordance with your particular pattern seeking impulse? Are you sure that the rome hating author wasn't entreating the reader to persist and maintain in their own cultural traditions which, as the author saw it, were crumbling?

We might be saved by grace but we are rewarded or chastised according to our deeds. Rom 2:6 God “will repay each one according to his deeds.” 7 To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life.…8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow wickedness, there will be wrath and anger.…

There is no "s" in Revelation. Not sure what you think I misread.
