I have talked with several clinton supporters and to me it all seems to boil down to "I am not voting for trump because he says mean things..."
No one can seem to tell me politically what policy he supports that will be the end of america.

That is pretty much what happened when Hollande got into power in France. It was a "rock" and a "hard place", situation. At the end of the day, when you have a left-wing president who at its lowest opinion poll was something like 13%, that tells you something about the direction France was and still is going in because of some rich left-winger who doesn't give a fuck about the people they are supposed to represent. As far as I'm concerned, the days of democrats/labour/Parti socialiste representing the "real", working people are long gone and they would prefer to support the middle classes.
