Well, someone had an extremely sheltered musical education. She really didn't hear stuff like Tupac or Biggie on the radio when she was younger? Because those lyrics don't seem too radically different from a lot of 90s Gangsta Rap. To be fair, it wasn't as integrarated into the pop music scene as it is now, but there is no good goddam reason she should be this shocked at the lyrics.
