So you don't think the idea of a doctor failing to report the rape of a child to authorities and instead preaching to the perpetrator about his religion so the rapist feels better about himself is offensive? Then sending them on their way and covering up a crime based upon nothing more than, "Oh, now I see how wrong I was. I promise I won't rape her any more?" That idea is totally reprehensible, and is the reason Chick pulled that particular tract from his lineup. Not to mention the further reprehensible behavior noted in the story of the neighbor blackmailing the rapist so he can join in, too, and letting the wife off the hook from her physical abuse of the child because now she promises that she really, really, loves Jesus now, too. So I guess Lisa has to live the rest of her life with herpes and psychological trauma, which likely result in drug addiction and dysfunctional relationships in real life, all because her parents "found Jesus" but aren't repentant enough to not sweep everything under the rug.
