Men who beat and raped children, their wives, girlfriends, etc., and they got on their knees and whined at the ceiling and then everything was fine. There is never any compassion of any kind shown to the victims of these "new christians". Never any justice or legal action for the perpetrators. - Only the celebration that god will now NOT send them to hell. And these little sick, twisted, damaging immoral little works of fiction have spread all over the globe. It's absolutely impossible to figure out how many people have been damaged by his so-called "ministry".
I don't claim to be a saint. But at least I have some concern for victims of abuse, and disgust over a work of fiction that depicts a little girl as a thing - something less-than-human, to be abused with impunity. It is impossible to be a sane human being and defend this repulsive work of fiction. And I'm still glad that he is no longer around to create more of these horrors. If that makes me immoral in your estimation, then I'll consider it a compliment.
Oh please, your fake outrage over a work of fiction isn't fooling me sweet pea. No, your real anger is at Christianity period.
Like I said you have no business talking about 'compassion' after just celebrating a mans death simply because you don't agree with his literature \ beliefs, of which he has every right to express under the first amendment.

Wait... what?
I guess religion is fine when it's paying your bills.
Well, you did your research, didn't you? I hope it was fun. Ad Hominem attack much? Of course, I did start it by my astonishment that any sane person could defend that tract.
NEVER call me "Sweet Pea". I reject your offensive, childish attempt at diminishment.
YES, I am angry at Christianity. I am VERY angry at Christianity. If you were in my shoes, you would be too.
Interesting that you want to defend a piece of fiction that was so offensive that it is the only one that Jack Chick pulled. The only one that sick bastard would not himself defend.
My outrage is not fake. The "message" of that piece of fiction should make any moral person puke. But apparently, even excusing a tale of child gang rape is ok if your "gospel" message is included. Why am I not surprised? The most evil people I have ever met have all been preachers.
And yes, the Catholic Church has helped to pay my bills. I was a single, self-employed musician for decades. Most musicians cannot survive without a church job. In fact, for a while, I was a member of an atheist church musician support group. There are a lot of us. I have been upfront with my priest about my orientation and my lack of belief. He still wants me to play. The choir members seem to like me. The music is fun. Everything else is loony-bin goofy, but the music is fun.
I almost wasn't going to reply to you. But I thought that the AF members should at least see a response from me.
