Also, since I've been missing this forum seems to have grown quite a bit, so, this question is aimed at those who subscribe to the notion that the Universe is only about 8000 years old.
Now, we know what the speed of light is and we also know the mass and scale of the Universe. If indeed it where only a few thousand years how do you account for the fact that the observable Universe is about 27 billion light years in diameter?
If on the other hand you are going to tell me that God simply created the Universe with the size it has now, how do you account for the fact that we can observe objects that are well over 8000 light years away?
