I drink it for the sake of Dutch courage sometimes but that's it... I don't enjoy it so once I'm merry it's back to cokes etc. So Absinth was a pleasant but unexpected surprise... a spirit sweet enough for me to happily drink neat. But anyway, what is Buckfast?
So you're on Mistress Ploppy last meal diet then? Sausages or nothing
It's a tonic wine.

It gets a bad rep for being associated with neds (Scottish chavs) but it's not really that bad. Just assholes abuse it but you could say that about any drink really.

I'm a sucker for sausages
I'm not really one for wine either (what a surprise

Yeah, I love me sausages too. Pro-tip if you want a really good sausage go for one that's gluten free. I had one at a dinner party recently (but at the time didn't know it was gluten free) and I couldn't put my finger on it but it just tasted so much meatier than a regular sausage... like a sausage with bacon in it. It was lovely and I asked the hostess about it and it turns out that usually sausages contain all sorts of wheat-related stuff but when they're gluten free they have to take that out and replace it with actual meat
