Nope, not going to be baited by that. Not going to dare me to out myself. I have my reasons for not revealing my identity. Having that all or nothing attitude about life is not how you do it.
There are people who do have reasons for not revealing themselves. Anyone who lives in a deeply red state can tell you. Anyone who has talked to a scared teen who is afraid to open up to their family about being LGBT, or wanting to leave religion, not just here, but in the east too, it isn't as simply as everyone giving their information. Some cannot afford to do it, but that does not mean they don't deserve a voice. Not just me, but any minority and not just in America but worldwide.
Not everyone has the luxury of a big family that agrees with them. Not everyone lives in areas with like minded people, not everyone has the means to be open and feel safe. Some people all they have is the internet. When the time comes I will, but for me right now, no. I will not be shamed in to or dared into anything.
I have my reasons. Just like this website and admins would not reveal our our personal info. They know it is a safe place for both atheists and theists to say what they want without fear. I decide when I reveal myself, nobody else.
