As for me, I said I didn't know. At the same time, workable alternative solutions haven't materialized. Reagan did try amnesty. That didn't seem to work.

You don;t have to know what you should do to solve whatever problem you imagine there to be...to know what should most definitely -not- be done in regards to the same problem, again, whatever the hell that is.
