For example in Syria the pop. is 15% Christian, in Iran 5%. So once again, Trump is offering "alternative facts."
Can somebody explain how the hell this is legal?
Also, it has been pointed out on NPR that no one from these countries has been responsible for any deaths in the U.S for the past 20 years, while people from countries left off the list, Saudi Arabia and Egypt (just 2 examples) were.
I don't think it is a coincidence that all the countries left off the list have Trump hotels, resorts and/or golf courses.
Trump probably doesn't want to anger those countries' leaders. They may make such a fuss that no one will go to them, or cause red-tape delays of properties in construction. Or they could even seize the properties threatening to hold them until Trump changes tactics.
I was reading some comments about this and lots of people are now calling Trump "Agent Orange." I have much harsher names for him.
“The problem with those who choose received Authority over fact and logic is how they choose which part of Authority to obey. The Bible famously contradicts itself at many points (I have never understood why any Christian would choose the Old Testament over the New), and the Koran can be read as a wonderfully compassionate and humanistic document. Which suggests that the problem of fundamentalism lies not with authority, but with ourselves.” ~Molly Ivins
