The complaints are that the executive order denies entry to legal US residents simply because they are citizens of those countries. Those people have lives in the US, they work here, they came here legally, they pay taxes. Their crime was going on vacation or leaving the U.S. temporarily while this order was being signed. That's all they did. There are plenty of residents from those 7 countries that are currently living in the U.S. and this order now means they cannot leave the U.S. because they won't be allowed back in. How ridiculous is that. They are OK to live here but once they leave for even a day trip to Canada they can't come back?
Please stop with the rhetoric and "snowflake" comments, it doesn't help your argument. I'm a legal US resident. Explain to me why I should be denied re-entry back to the country I now call home if I didn't commit a crime, abided by all the legal requirements of my residency, but just so happened to originally come from a country that is now on this list.
The countries on the list do not have stable governments and we don't have the diplomatic personnel in place to properly review all of the people in those countries who want visas. On top of that they are full of ISIS agents who have the stated message of attacking the US and killing Americans in America.
Basically, we don't want to be stupid like the Europeans and flood the country with homicidal maniacs. We have enough our own and don't need more.
Europe, Asia, and Africa have had centuries of wars and invasions. People from other areas swarm in with the wind. America isn't like that. We just have the best propaganda in the world. We threw the American Indians on reservations and barred black people from even living in entire States. The basic fact is that the average American doesn't want foreigners here. They usually come as war trophies brought in by bleeding hearts and do-gooder politicians who use them as pawns so that they can stay in office.
Now the current refugee problem was caused by idiots in Washington who thought that it was a good idea to go around the world telling other people how to live. They also did it to benefit the Israelis and the Saudis.
But this is the world we have now and if Trump is successful he will be able to change course that will ultimately benefit everyone, instead of causing everyone pain and suffering like dummies did in the past.
And please remind everyone to layoff the personal attacks. They are getting old.
