I'm fairly certain that the SCOTUS will support the EO.  

Since the Repubs are in control they could simply write all of the provisions of the EOs into law.

Oh really? So which way do you believe each of the 8 current SCOTUS justices will vote?

I think it will be from a minimum of 5-3 to 8-0 in favor of the complete EO.  The Court has to show that it supports the safety and security of the United States without question.  That's the President's job.  It won't be willing to restrict his ability to do it.  Plus the EO is completely legal under current law.
