It makes sense that if there is a God he will communicate with people. It is logical for us to hear, see and sense God.
And if you could see hear or sense god then he would detectable by other than human imagination.
You have placed god squarely in the realm of the testable there.

I am not, nor have I ever been a Christian.
My mother tried, I was sent to sunday school.
they started with genesis and I asked loads of awkward questions and found the whole thing stupid, apparently they asked my mum not to take me back.
