One of my brothers was watching Rush Limbaugh when I came to visit (years ago), and I heard Rush talking about "...Obama's totalitarian regime...". Crazy stuff, and people eat it up.

As far as I know, my Dad isn't a fan of either, but he ate up all of the "Obama wants to take all your guns away" rhetoric. You would think his education would provide some prophylaxis from this kind of bullshit, but as Dad earned a Ph.D in marine biology, perhaps not. It appears to me that there's a demographic that's just prone to paranoia (I'm using "paranoia" in a colloquial sense, not clinical).
