I wake up, lying on the floor in a vast room, surrounded by other sleepers as far as I can see.
I've been asleep for a while but some of these people are old. From the dust that has settled around them I get the impression that most of these people have never even stirred.
I spend hours trying to wake the sleepers up.
Most are comatose, some groggily open their eyes only to fall back into slumber, while others lash out, giving me the impression they're only half asleep.
None awaken.
I realise they can only awaken on their own, as I did.
Sunlight hits me. It's coming from a door with an exit sign above.
I can see the shapes of people, people who are awake.
With a tinge of excitement I walk towards the exit.
