It's not bullshit to say that Americans have a right to live in America that non-citizens don't have. Why do you claim that it is?
We -do- "have that option" with citizens. There are tons of laws about what we can do to citizens in the name of protecting ourselves from terror. Meanwhile, there's nothing in our immigration laws which say "if we think that someday you may have a child and that child might be a terrorist" with regards to criteria for refusal.
