The OP is rambling, muddled and kooky enough, that the fact of the slurs being made in jest wouldn't necessarily be obvious to someone who doesn't follow your posts closely. And you really can't blame folks for not being able to "see" the inner machinations of your mind, Brian.

I got the sarcasm, but then you veered off into the whole tree business. No definitive subject, or point at all, actually. It just seemed to be a kind of weird, incohesive mish-mash of random thoughts and musings. 

Anyway, I just assumed you were drunk....not bigoted or racist. 

Drunk or not, it still remains all 7 billion of us are the same species. Argue my delivery, that would be a better argument, but I have never lost sight that we are the same species, and as long as I am lucid, I never will. I have no fear at laughing at life, including myself and others. 

I don't ever want my fellow humans to think of our world population as "other" because we are not. But I am not going  to always censor myself because someone doesn't understand the context of my humor or think I should never joke like this. 

I don't care if the intent is good, the game of "never say" is a dangerous one long term on all sides. If we all got to silence someone for offending the other, there is not one individual out of our 7 billion that could not think of something they would rather not hear. 

So again, argue my delivery at best. But that is it. Others got it. You not agreeing with it does not mean I should not say it.

I clearly said that I "got" the sarcasm/joke in my post above. Did you even bother reading my post before you started yammering and moaning about my disagreeing with you? Hell, the OP didn't even have a point, as far as I'm concerned....So what's there to argue about?
