Beef- err I mean Horse Lasagne
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/07...r=Business

Quote:Some beef lasagna products recalled from British stores contained more than 60 percent horsemeat, U.K. food safety authorities said Thursday. It was the latest revelation in a growing scandal surrounding the use of horsemeat and the mislabeling of meat products in Europe.

I don't know why but I can't help but find this whole scenario rather comical.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'm starting to wonder if they should begin selling more horse meat. It clearly tastes pretty good. Nobody seemed to notice.

I am happy that I buy most of my meat at a local butcher, with the assurance that it is not only top quality but also what is says to be.

Anyway, who eats frozen supermarket lasagne? That stuff tastes like wood and is absolutly nothing like a tasty self made lasagne.

What do my culinary skills have to do with me not having the money to go to the butchers for all my meat?
