The characteristics and properties of immortal souls are usually and universally (AFAIK) a Sunday School 101 thing.  Although I have to admit my assuming Sunday School 101 items as being universal amongst believers has been SORELY TESTED here.

1- Well this is the Religious section, and this thread asks about religion, so as a holy man I thought I'd better step up to the plate to tend peoples spiritual welfare..Smile

2- What's 101? Never heard of it!
Anyway just google 'religion and abortion' and you'll see nobody knows if it's a good or bad thing like I said before.
The consensus among most Christian denominations is that abortion "might" be okay if continuing the pregnancy would harm the mothers health, or if scans show the baby would be born badly handicapped.
PS- I gave the medics permission to switch off my elderly mother and let her die when she went braindead with thyroid complications 18 years ago, no doubt some fundies would say I committed the sin of "Thou shalt not kill", but I don't give a rat's arse what fundies say..Smile
