Islamic extremists are a threat not only to everyone else, but to their fellow Muslims as well.
My main problem with Islam, apart from the extremists, and this is true for a lot of groups, is that many move to another country and expect that society to change to suit them, instead of assimilating into their new country.
I had an argument online with a Muslim guy from Lebanon who moved to Australia and then spent hours ranting how Australian women were all whores with no values and that everyone was jealous of the virtue of Muslim women (this was when the Aussie government were discussing banning the burqa and the black thing that the Saudis make their women wear).
I asked him if he thought Islamic culture was superior to Australian culture, to which he answered "yes".
I then asked him why he was living in Australia instead of an Islamic country if we're so inferior to his culture? For that I was called racist.
But, of course, he's not representative of all Muslims and such attitudes are not exclusive to Muslims.
The white Christian conservatives and their Nazi followers are also a serious threat to our society. And not just American, but to many cultures around the world.
