The corporate news networks do chase ratings and nobody should deny that, but on average when you take all the local stations and local newspapers nationally into account there still are lots of objective reporters and even the national networks do put out lagit stories.
So yea, if you are going to ask me to chose between say CNN or BBC or NYT or Washington Post vs a lying sack of shit I agree, I'll go to them before I would take 45s word for it.
