And what she's doing is using the long time catholic oppositional tactic of "just asking questions" to try and discredit vaccines. C_L is not all sweetness and light as she would have you believe. Look up her posting history, her kudosing history &c and you'll find that she's in ordinately fond of the more extreme end of christian theology.

Why? She's hardline catholic, showing a consistent defence of the horros the catholic church has perpetrated and denigration of those who would bring those horrors into the light.
She doesn't get a pass from me because she's got a good looking woman as her avatar and rarely posts something funny about herself.
Not everything is about/related to religion, and why would I want to discredit vaccines? Lol I am by no means anti vax.
I just believe in trying to find middle grounds when possible and in being slow to judge/vilinize groups of people. That's my usual approach to most conflict in general.

Exactly. I see abortion as straight up child murder, and my feelings about it are very strong and even personal. But I don't vilinize people who are for it because I understand that they see things differently and are not bad people with malicious intentions, as strongly as I disagree with them.
I also find it amusing that Taz says I don't post funny things about myself when I have literally posted a picture of my turd on the forums before. You missed a gold mine, my friend.

You need to make it clear you were quoting the article and not your opinion.

It seems extreme to say that parents who don't vaccinate their kids should be criminally punished with child neglect charges. For one, they think they are keeping their kids safe by not vaccinating them. If there is family history of autoimmune disorders, other immune issues, methylation issues, or if they've had a bad experience with vaccines in the past, then I can see why a parent may be hesitant. I don't agree with it, but I don't agree with all this over blown hatred towards these people either. This whole ordeal about villainizing people who are not on "our" side of an argument is where my pushback is coming from here.
My observations over the last few months are that you seldom, if ever, take a stand on any issue. Middle of the road opinions on anything and everything. You just ask questions. You're good at it mind you.
I clearly said that I disagree with the anti vaccine choices and that I plan on vaccinating my own kids. Im not sure what you mean about me not having taken a stance.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
