Also, the reason why 'free speech' is considered to be a dog whistle for 'white supremacy' is because, recently, white supremacists have been the loudest ones complaining about a lack of free speech, specifically on college campuses. See: Milo, and people of his ilk.
So, to reiterate, no one is required to provide a venue for bullshit, and tolerance doesn't mean tolerating things like white supremacy.
