If I had three kids so that they could make me happy, and I burnt two alive for their failure in that regard..would you point to the third and say;
"Solid dad, really puts the kids interests ahead of his own"
No, ofc not, because you know just as well as I do that nothing about that entire scenario, from start to finish, is anything other than monstrously and absurdly selfish. You know the same is true about your god as well...which is why you pointed to the third kid in the first place.
