How much potential though? No parent declines vaccinating their kid while knowing there's a big risk they might die from it. Instead they think the risk of the vaccine itself is greater than the risk of the child catching a deadly disease and dying from it.
Plain and simple. You're more likely to die of small pox than suffer an adverse reaction to the vaccine. If people are to stupid to figure than out, they need to be educated, and if necessary, required by law to protect their kids.
