Thats true enough. Im a pretty atypical example of a poor person in the U.S. insomuch as i dont pay rent, have a college degree and choose to live this way. Regradless I am the working poor, even if i actually don't work for much of the year, technically homeless and well below the poverty line. I just happen to choose to live that way, in order to persue a lifelong passion of mine. Why more people dont live this way, i have no idea. Presumably that 500 bucks means just as much to other poor people as me. Just in a different way.
