Obviously marital rape is bad.
Though you are correct about the second part. Catholics use timed abstinence during the fertile time of the month as birth control when trying to avoid pregnancy. You don't have to be trying to have a baby every time you have sex. That's just Jehanne spreading more ignorance and misinformation about Catholicism.
I suppose so, though I know there are some schools of feminist thought that could consider the "Not now" "Please, honey?" "Okay" scenario to count as rape. (Hopefully, that's as far as it goes for you.) I really don't think so (I honestly think it feels like it trivialises rape somewhat; I can remember one rape survivor saying about such a scenario "If is rape, then you'd have to invent a whole new word for what happened to me."), but I know that some do.
Yeah, I am well aware that many atheists tend to exaggerate Catholic doctrine or at least post their admittedly extreme experiences and work under the assumption that it's standard operating procedure. Honestly, I don't think you even need to exaggerate the official beliefs to point out the dubiousness: the Church's position against birth control is not one I agree on, partly because the human population appears to be already growing faster than we can create the resources for them to use (food and water very likely, oil and other such energy resources definitely, and I strongly suspect that people outnumbering the jobs they can take in our poor economy might also be an example), a position that I admit seems to have been formed in good faith is astonishingly easy to abuse, and it's led to an astonishing amount of suffering, not the least of which involves the RCC refusing to allow condom use even as a means of slowing down the spread of AIDS (even though a loophole in Humanae vitae that allows the use of female birth control pills for non-contraceptive uses should theoretically mean they're okay to keep people from infecting others with HIV.)
