Obviously we will necessarily have to be selective.
For such a trip, what's your itinerary, and why?
Amsterdam... bah (never been there

2 weeks isn't enough to go everywhere, so you'll have to be selective.
Even if you stick to Northern Europe, 2 weeks isn't enough!!
How are you planning on moving from place to place? car, train, plane?
OK, well... most places I haven't been, but word is in my brain about them, so do some research on the places before you commit to them.
From Amsterdam, follow on to Belguim's port town of Antwerp - the old Flemish "capital", from where many ships sailed into the new world, or to trade along the Mediterranean.
You can then pass through Brussels to see the EU headquarters!
From there to France and Paris... take a few days for Versailles and the Louvre.
From here, there can be 3 alternatives - take a train under the channel to London and come visit me at Oxford, Stimbo not far, and Hammy a bit further up north.... while you're going north, visit Edinburgh and Glasgow. Then hop on to Ireland and enjoy Dublin.
From there, you get on a plane to Lisbon!

Then Madrid and Barcelona, Milan, Florence and Rome.
Venice, Vienna and Prague (can't miss Prague, it's amazing!)
From there, if you want, go into Poland and visit Auschwitz, then hop south to Athens, from where you can return home, getting a tan while you wait for your flight.
