No it doesn't. Just because you are against a particular thing does not mean that you cannot be nice to a person or respectful to that person. It also doesn't mean that he has ulterior motives, and if you are constantly questioning the motives of a particular group, then it may be you who is just angry, biased, and prejudiced. As I said, it is perfectly possible, that it is just what it seems (a nice gesture). However it seems that your bias and prejudice won't let you see anything else and nothing can falsify the narrative that may only be in your head.
