Lol now roads trying to downplay his homophobe voting history .Nope unless he voices support  for gay marriage . And renounce his previous anti gay positions . It is hate . No matter how much homophobes try and weasel word it in egalitarian language . Sorry Pence is the problem and the only problem .

As I said previously, I don't know a lot about Pence.   So I decided to check out what it is that is the bases for this claim of conversion therapy support that deserves such condemnation.

It seems that most places point to just one thing.   The following from his 2000 campaign website.

Now to go from this, to saying that he supports some of the horrible practices described by Dr. Fuzzy is just flat out wrong in my opinion. If there is more; that I'm missing then show me, but this appears to be going well beyond the facts to demonize someone.  Someone can believe that homosexual activity is wrong, or that we should not have re-defined marriage for homosexuals, and it's not about hate.  You don't have to agree with them, and you are free to think they are wrong.  However if this is the basis for the outrage i'm seeing... I don't think the problem is with Pence.

Your response led me to read some of Pence's legislation, and yes, most of it was craftily worded.  And his media spin people have been loudly stating that the Politifact quote above only addresses normal routes of therapy, and certainly not forced incarceration.  And his people will keep protesting, and the left will keep saying that he's a rabid homophobe.
He can easily, easily fix this.  He could do it today.  Meet with Rippon and declare on camera that he's going to support gay marriage and gay rights from this point out, and that he regrets all off the discriminatory legislation that he previously supported. Then he needs to get busy and back up his words.  Simple.

Well of course it's craftily worded rare are the days were the Republicans can just come out and bash gays like the "good old days". And yes action not words will show his real hand .Till then his action against the gay community speak for themselves .

That’s just wrong!

No Pence's bigotry is the only thin here that's wrong . This is not a matter of disagreement . One side is openly pushing discrimination against people . That's not "just another opinion ". Nor is it some one can simply disagree with . It is hate as much hate as if Pence had ordered the recriminalization of homosexuality .
