How is wanting to talk to someone that's a member of a demographic you clearly do not respect for PR reasons a 'nice thing' again?

Adam Rippon very clearly doesn't want to be used as a PR prop for a man whose decades of policy decisions has hurt (or attempted to hurt) people like him. And, frankly, any crocodile tears shed over this point only highlights why Rippon's choice is the correct one.
