What beliefs would we consider reasonable for a self proclaimed Christian to hold?

Billions of people have come up with a god concept.  They were trying to explain what the sun was, or trying to control others by claiming that they could talk to the rain god.
Billions of people have come up with many thousands of very different gods.  It's called story-telling and imagination.  If there was any credible evidence of anything remotely like a deity, these "gods" would be identical, and proof for this creature would be obvious.  This is not the case.

Why do some xtians hold on to this idea that their imaginary friend is their DADDY?  It's such an infantile mindset.

"I have this all-powerful, all-knowing, eternal parent who loves ME ME ME.  If good things happen, it's because my imaginary friend loves ME ME ME and if bad things happen, my imaginary friend is teaching ME ME ME.  My demonic sky-monster daddy murdered his "son" to save ME ME ME from being tortured for eternity for being what it created ME ME ME to be, and nobody cares about the people who are going to hell, they deserve it."

Crap-loads of this ridiculous egotistical drivel based on some evil, immoral, tribal fairy tales all based on "my imaginary friend loves ME ME ME better than those people over there".

Your imaginary friend is the most evil monster humankind has ever created.

Why do most atheists think they know who God is when they haven't got a clue?

The question should rightly be put to you since I haven't a clue what you are talking about where 'god' is concerned, let alone who.  You're the one with the secret daddy/friend.
