What beliefs would we consider reasonable for a self proclaimed Christian to hold?

With what? You have only got hypothesis, nothing more. DNA tells us a different story:

DNA is coded with a tremendous amount of information and it is not random information either. It is not there by happenstance nor could it be assumed that nature could put it there. Is nature an intelligent life form? If so perhaps it could code DNA but it isn't so. So if nature did not add the code to the DNA, who did?

56 pages in this thread.  You have been presented with a huge amount of links to respected, current, scientific research on the subject of abiogenesis, DNA, evolution, etc., etc.
I would bet my house that you have not studied the material presented to you.

You just keep vomiting out your ignorant, blinkered, fairy-tale moronic drivel, it never changes.  You mind isn't just closed, it's fossilized.  Every time you post "happenstance" and try to point to nature as proof of a deity -- you sound like a child screaming that SANTA DOES EXIST HE DOES HE DOES HE DOES YOU'RE A STUPID POOPY HEAD!!!!   I would say that I really pity you, but actually I'm terrified that you might have children.  Those poor, poor, crippled, abused little things.  PLEASE tell me you didn't breed.

I have read up on evolution and the "could have" articles. It is all a bunch of hypothesis which I would call junk science. Man could not have evolved from a one celled animal. Mayflies have a lifespan of 24 hours. In the last 50 years they have passed through numerous generations without evolving into something other than a mayfly.
