Any moral god would punish you for affirming christian ideology. You can always renounce it, ofc, and redeem yourself.
Point is that it's unwise to just blithely dismiss the possibility of a moral god and afterlife. Particularly if, as with that moral god, a life of christianity can be undone and the punishment forgone
