I don't think Catholics are interested in anything outside there own little worlds. What protestants say is of little or no interest. It's a sideline to what they already know is the best - their own indoctrination
If a Catholic was aware of what it meant to be a protestant christian then I think it'd add more credence to their statement of belief. Baptists (washed) understand Methodists (unwashed), but that isn't the same for Catholics. They feel they're 'superior', for want of a better word, and are happy to be ignorant. This is dangerous given the age old flaws, but that's another subject.
