They're entirely different things. What Obama's administration did was severe government overreach and an uncomfortable lack of transparency. I support the media in that case.

What Trunp has done is completely eliminate "reality" and "facts." Theres no longer any standard of truth. He can say something blatantly false and people will believe it over what is true, because hes planted a distrust of news -- but not biased news media in general, just the ones he doesnt like. He's blurred the line between fact and fiction and now anyone with an opinion is right and everything else is fake news. He has completely warped the perception of truth. That.
