The only difference between Trump and Hitler is that Hitler lived within the constitutional framework allowing him to do what he did. Trump would do the same if he had the power.

Actually quite a lot of what Hitler did was outside any constitutional framework. And the few attempts at legitmisation he made were pulled off so cack-handedly, everybody knew they were simply flimsy excuses or rule by intimidation.

The nazis were operating so far outside the law with their various plans to exterminate multiple groups they took great pains to conceal their actions and hide the identities of those responsible.
