Damned Catholics

The Catholic Church has a severe shortage of priests. There is like 1 Catholic priest for every 3.5 thousand Catholics. There has never been such a disparity in Catholic history.

The Church acts like its a government and has a massive bureaucracy. People are turned off by that kind of religion. The historic Jesus of Nazareth was a radical, apocalyptic preacher, living on the margins of society. The Sadducees of his day are comparable to the Catholic bishops. Now I know why many Catholics are leaving that church, they see a major discrepancy between the church and the original Jesus movement.

The "real" Jesus was a figment of Saul of Tarsus' imagination.
