I feel that I have already seen. Trump's war on the media is despicable. I have posted endlessly about how opposed I am to attacks on the media. When antifa started attacking journalists, I posted about how opposed I was to antifa's attacks on journalists. I got trolled by people who were very angry about my criticisms of antifa, and refused to acknowledge that antifa did anything wrong, and accused me of supporting Trump's attacks on journalists (even though they knew that I had always been very critical of Trump's attacks on journalists).

Wingnuts on the right defend Trump's attacks on journalists.
Wingnuts on the left defend antifa's attacks on journalists.
I attack anyone who attacks journalists.

The same 'blindeye' mentality exists in segments of both the right and the left.

Maybe you have a different newsfeed?  Antifa is routinely and resoundingly condemned by the liberal establishment, though the wingnut welfare circuit is constantly screaching about ANTIFA=Mainstream Dems!!!. 

IDK if any discussion over what antifa does right or wrong is all the relevant to antifa anyway - "by any means necessary" doesn't sound like a promise to uphold standards of dignity and decency in political opposition.  We kindof epect them to do the bad shit™ right...I mean, at some point?  Most of what they do probably wouldn't qualify but I think that they do reserve the right to throw a brick or start a fire and remain consistent with their base ideology...which..for reference....is  "by any means necessary".....

As far as their attacks on journalists?  Well..you've got one side attacking journalists for doing their job..and the other attacking journalists for failing to do their job.

You might try parsing English a little better before responding with a knee-jerk reaction. Of course liberals (such as myself) have condemned antifa's actions. If you had put the slightest bit of effort into understanding what I actually said, you would have seen that I restricted my comments to 'segments' of the left and right.

ALL liberals are opposed to antifa's actions. My comments were restricted to an illiberal segment of the left that turns a blind eye to misbehavior just as aggressively as any fact-denying Trump supporter.
