Depending on who they are, it's not particularly practical or realistic though...Like in the case of family, co-workers and such. In those cases, it's probably better to adopt a cool Vulcan-like approach and strictly limit discussion/interactions to only pertinent matters-at-hand and no more. Use as few words as possible to convey only what is necessary.
But if it's not somehow essential to interact with someone you intensely dislike, then don't.
