That's exactly right. And gun control motivation from the fear of black people with guns goes back a lot further than that. The Dred Scott decision specifically states the fear of giving him the right to have guns as a reason for not recognizing him as a citizen. After the Civil War, southern states were trying all kinds of things to keep guns out of the hands of black people.
Since gun control has always been a racist thing before, why would anyone believe that it's not now? Everyone knows that it's not really the hillbillies and rednecks that we are trying to take guns away from. We want guns out of the 'inner cities'. It's always been a racist thing before. It is still a racist thing.
We do not inherit the world from our parents. We borrow it from our children.
